From what I can see all clips get 3 stars by default.

From what I see from here all clips haven no ratings except for the few that do have rating.

Well I gave you a 5! You do not deserve a 3.

Thanks, I owe you. But shouldn't it show 4 star rating now?

I'm sure this is a bug. If you try and vote on your own clip it will give you 3 stars with no voters.

The rating has been in place for a long long time. There has been discussions here in the past about it. Many believe it is too easy to abuse. If you don't like someone then you rate their products low. If you have friends then friends get to gather and rate each others products high. It becomes an insider thing easily abused. Hopefully it's set for established buyers to rate and not sellers. I would hope that buyers need to have a significant number of buys before their "vote" counts to avoid hate or favoritism. But really ... why have a vote or rating from buyers? If a buyer buys a product then they must consider it a 5 if they bought it. In reality the vote or rating system should be removed completely, it is really meaningless and too easily abused.

I agree with you, akennedy. I also agree with Don. This rating has no value and it increases the refresh time of the web page. Too much code.

I also think it should be removed. Don is right - sales = votes. Nobody is going to buy (or not buy) a clip because of votes.
