Has any one used this. I am wondering if it will work on a FX1000. I have seen posts where it was indicated that it would.

It comes with a cold shoe mount for connecting via the ilink.

It's not listed for the fx1000.

It does work on the FX1000, just doesn't have a place to attach it. It also works for the xh-a1 I read somewhere.

This is one of the add ons I have looked to upgrade to. Seems pretty cool! No need to rip tapes anymore. I think this also lets you to dual record to tape and hdd at the same time.

B & H video reports it will work on the FX1000. You have to mount it on the show with the included adapter. The real question is do you have to hit record on the MRC1K as well or will it sync record like it does on pro recorders.
