Pond5 Takes to the Water

Thanks P5 for the new fishing boat and motor. Sales are great and having fun with them is what it is all about. Where else can an artist buy new cameras, monitors, computers AND a new fishing boat and motor from great sales .... No Where.

Brilliant success story, and an inspiration for me to shoot more. When people ask what I get up to during my spare time I mention shooting the video, and always say "I sell a few from time to time but it ain't going to pay the rent". Well, no it won't if I continue to find reasons for sitting on my arse with a cup of tea rather than going out and shooting stuff.

Thanks for the remote kick up the rear.

What's the fishing like there Don? What species?

I like going to several lakes that are on the Skyline Drive about 20 minutes from where I live. The lakes are on the top of a 10,000 foot mountain so it's getting cold for the season. This is Huntington Lake where they found a Mammoth when building the dam. The fishing is normally pretty good for Cutthroat, Rainbow, Tiger, and Brown Trout. By the end of November it will have a couple feet of ice so then it's ice fishing time.

I've done a lot of fishing but don't think I've fished that high - not sure if the arthritis in my wrists would be happy ice fishing!
