Option to display all collections?

Jonathan,

Did I understand correct?
We can't include thumbnails in (under) the description? It is a backward update, not advance. Please stop it.
May be !! should introduce "Stacking" or "Association" function so we can do it in the upload process by ourselves.

Jonathan,

Clip description or Collection description?

If it's about clip description I also think is a backward especially when in this moment "similar clips" does not work at all.
That feature (thumbnails in (under) the description in clip page) is the only chance you give the buyer if want to find something similar (different angles, static, pan, zoom, light, day, night... shots) and not lose itself in search results again and again.

...... i think updates should make the site and using better!?

The new frontpage is boring and we never can't trust the views counter.
Maybe it's a good idea to start with updates there where it's most necessary!

@Beckhusen I agree!

For how many months "Featured Collections" on home page show the same collections?
jonathan 12 Nov 2014 22:59
I'll get some more information about that change and report back here with it for everyone. Please stand by...

The old "Featured Artists" on frontpage with mouseover and sampleclips was also better!

We had to disable the feature because links in the description were actually having a negative impact on search performance. The mechanics involved are a little over my head, but disabling links in the descriptions was definitely the right choice, I promise.

Having said that, I completely get how it feels like a step backwards. I know that you want to be able to control your "showroom" as it were, and have neat and attractive ways of showing off what you have for sale. We're talking about it, and if we can find a working way to allow internal Pond5 links in the description, I'll be sure to let you all know.

No problem, Jonathan!

If the customers can't find what we can offer they will look elsewhere and where is no money for me there is no money for P5 too....That's for sure!

I've done absolute all to do inside marketing to keep the customers interested and many times I'm sure the customer navigate in the collections I promote in clip description which of course the clip was included and license other similar from that subject / city.

If you want to keep the customer interested you need to be sure you have "related clips" working perfectly.

Sometimes "related clips" does NOT appear at all especially for the new clips added... which is not something new. Others already remarked that.

All in all. If the new changes bring sales, both parts will be very happy.

Good Luck!
