Anyone Else Had a Recent Drop In Sales?

Last pay period, my sales dropped 90% due to the new search algorithms here at Pond5. I'm wondering if you can relate to this situation. If so, how many clips do you have and how many clips have you been selling on average? We need to get those customers back. I know they loved our clips when they could find them!

Hi Brennan,
With only 25 of your products for sale here it P5 any statistic on sales is rather meaningless. The stock footage and music business is a roller coaster even for artists with thousands of clips for sale. With only 25 a drop of only one sale a month looks like a significant drop. Maybe you have been doing exceptionally well and hope if that is the case it picks and and continues. There are artists here that sell 25 high prices clips and more a week. If they have an established sales pattern over several months or years and then they get a drop to only a few sales it is easy to see that some kind of change happened.

Hang in there and keep uploading. It'll get better as time goes on. Good luck.

I did have a drop but as Rekindle mentioned, even with thousands of clips, sales vary a lot.

I started just one year ago so I don't have a huge experience but I don't understand why my sales here are not growing enough. I sell around 30/35 clips per month on SS but here I only reached ten clip per month in the best cases (only July and November). Same number of clips, very controlled prices.

With 20k+ clips audio very narrow niche style i also have a significant drop. From 8-10 a month to nothing..What's going on there?
