Hello everyone,
We started to sell royalty-free music 3 months ago on another platform, with a pretty good success :) Then we discovered Pond5 and we loved it, it seems huge and very professional.
So we decided to upload our first tracks here few days ago, some of our more successful items we got on the first platform.
The problem is from the 3 tracks we put on Pond5 we had no sales, and worst just 3 views on the tracks !!!
Did we missed something in the upload to give visibility to our items?? Or maybe we don't understand yet the way it goes on Pond5 to have buyers?
Please Dear community, help us !! :)

I'm not an audio guy but isn't one week way too soon to expect sales and views even for audio?
Can't help you with the description and keywords though, propably the audio guys have some good advice.

3 tracks a few days ago.
And that is the problem?
I guess you're new to the stock industry. The first problem is there is over 700,000 of pieces of music on this site that you are competing against.
That isn't saying all of those are exactly like yours but if someone is searching for a clip they may wade through a lot of music before getting to yours.
So, I would suggest that you upload many more pieces of music before expecting sales in the first few days.
Also, if you have questions about selling, there is an artists only forum for audio that you can post there.

Thx for your time Jake :) I understand what you say, there's just a big difference with the other platform we put our tracks. For example, the first 3 tracks we uploaded there made something like 20 sales the first week. Thats why we try to understand how it works here, and we will follow your advice about upload way more tracks :)

Yup, kk5hy is right. The best way to start seeing sales, or to improve sales, is to keep uploading new content. Nothing works better than that.
But you can also market yourself over the Internet. We don't advertise your content for you, we only advertise for Pond5 as a whole, so it's a good initiative to take. One of the best ways to do this is to put your content into collections:
http://help.pond5.com/hc/en-us/articles/200944893-What-Are-Collections-
You can share collections over social media, email, and even on your personal website. This is a fantastic way to drive traffic to your content. :)
