HI all,
I used a manual lense for sony a7 and took a video. when i took it i notice the video was lagging when i manual focus the lense, the video looks not so smooth when the focus changing.
It looks like some frames are skipping that make it look lagging?
at first i thought it is just a problem writing to the card and it will be fine to run on computer.
but it seems the final video is lagging even on computer.
The video i took is avchd and 60P28M(PS).
anyone knows what is the reason? video will look okay if no slow movement (like slow focusing in scene).
Thanks.

what was your shutter speed?
How were you pulling focus? Just moving the dial by hand?
60p looks 'jerky' at times anyway, so the focus pulling probably over exaggerated the 1/120 shutter and looked 'choppy'.
I would shoot at 1/60 and 30fps. That should help.
Try to take one of you 60fps shots and put it on a 30fps time line (1/2 speed) and see how it looks.
