Hi, thanks for all the responses. I just got back from Cuba so sorry for the late report.

Two days before my departure, I bought a Nikon Coolpix AW130 which was just released in March this year, because I wanted to do some underwater shooting. After I took a few test shots, I was horrified by its quality. There was no details in the texture, the edges were way over-sharpened with halos. The overall impression was someone over-sharpened a bad shot. I had a Kodak PS ten years ago, the image quality was way better.

The evening before my departure, I happened to be in a board sports store to buy a new bathing suit. I saw this Hero 4 Silver and grabbed it. I didn't have much time to worry because I needed an underwater camera.

Hero 4 Silver's image quality was much much better than Nikon AW130 and it was very sharp, including the images I took from a fast moving car. The colors are a bit on the dull side and need some editing. Another cool feature is the touch screen of the live view on the back. Overall, it is really cool and I am happy with the image quality. I have not had a chance to look at the video footage yet. Will look at the footages later.

I could not wait for Hero 5 because I needed something right away. If I make good sales, I will be able to afford to buy Hero 5 :) I am not aware of any Xiaomi in Toronto, but I had no time to look around.
