Can't upload with ftp or the website?

I've noticed FTP/FTP3 has been seriously loaded with files quite a lot recently, once with over 7,000 files in the queue waiting to be transferred to the submission pages. Bigger the backlog, the longer the files will take to appear in the Submission pages.
Y'all who use FTP know you have a choice of servers, right?
"Artist Resources" link at the bottom of each page, "FTP Status" tab. Uploads through the browser uploader don't give the server option, so they might all go to the FTP/FTP3 server by default which could explain why it's so heavily backed up sometimes.
