"Just rendering to Miraizon PRHQ is a form of NR"
That is true, saves me time both ways :-)

I don't know if Neat is faster - just found it to be the best solution. Never was satisfied with anything else I tried (either didn't work or made details smudgy)

Gonna do some green screen work soon -- that's a case for external recorders, right? Last time I did it I used FS700 and Sound Devices PIX220 shooting PRHQ. I remember I wasn't as impressed with it as I was supposed to be, wondering if that's a case for shooting RAW (in the upcoming shoot).

If you can sell 9X more, it is worth the effort !!! I will start this learning curve too. :0

I had a beautiful blue sky clip, after rendered to mov mp4, lot of artifact in the sky. I just have to throw it away.

A new curator rejected 3 files from 130, reason is high light blow out, low light too dark. It seems to me that he never heard of silhouette !!
I don't know why they have to follow this old fashioned stock photo guide line, pictures has to be perfect exposure and composition!! So boring..

It's a good point, Pat - for all the PITA, and hard work, and more data to manage/crunch, sales do not reflect this, at least for me. IN fact it is largely sales from other clips that aren't so amazing technically that furnish the time and money to delve into playing with fancier gear and taking time to do it, but I certainly am for the most part not deserving, in that I don't usually do "pro shoots" or anything like that and when I look at my sales maybe I should have just stuck with the Z5U (which I still have, poor thing). But it is really excellent feeling to see the quality, even if it is just a nuance captured in the light, where AVC would have fallen flat ...that makes it worth it. Sometimes. Good to have the option, that's for sure. With the Odyssey 7Q+, which I got because I wanted to be able to record 4K via HDMI from other cams as well as the FS700 via HD-SDI, it's a royal pain, and I still haven't developed a good workflow with it, but when I do use it, it's a joy to see the results.

When I submit shots that have a challenging look to them, or something wrong, I make sure to put that into the keywords and description: "Something bad happened to this shot, but it has a unique effect" or something like that. Kinda like this shot, which I almost deleted, but was recently approved - trying full telephoto/macro slider push in with a funky Kessler unit that had wobble: 48518081 The shot is FUBARED in my opinion, but has just enough of "something" and I would not be surprised if it actually sells someday.

I like it !! Really good and I think it will sell. I would use Beholder / Stabilizer / Slow Motion (so your movement is slower) etc for this shot (next time when you do it again). DOF is really shallow which my compact camera can't never produce. Well-done !!.

I noticed you had a few $699/799 eagle sales in the last 2 months. Congr... Last few months also good for me. :)

Thanks Pat - what's Beholder? I tried Warp stabilizer on it but it was too much. Shallow DOF caused by full telephoto on AX100. Funny you mention slowmo - I wanted it to be faster, actually..

Oh, and I forgot to mention I was pretty mad to find out the AX100 can't be used with HDMI recorder...

Can't see any real difference between xavc and prores.
Would make more sense to shoot an s-log clip with extreme shadows and highlights to see if there are any gains in noise texture but nevertheless external recorder is as you said a waste on this camera.Plus xavc is a wonderful codec despite being the long-gop flavour for thie rx10.

Did you use a cine profile for this btw or a custom ps?
