I installed "Real Player" http://uk.real.com/realplayer/ as the default QT player and it does the job.
BTW, what program allows you to see the thumbnail of MPEG2?
Eden.

Eden,
Only thumbnail, not movie.
I want to be able to see all my thumbnails in one folder in window explorer.
I had QT player, media player so there is no problem to watch my video footage.

When you install the software it installs something to windows that allows it to generate the thumbnail. I'm not sure if real player does.. but I thought QT would.

dapoopta,
I do not know what you mean or you do not know what I mean.
QT is a player, it cannot show a folder with all the thumbnails. A small picture of the footage, so you see what is this footage look like, instead of opening the footage (movie) to watch the movie.

Real Player both plays the MOV files and presents a thumbnail.
Definitely. I have it installed. If you installed Real Player as the default player for QT, it will generate the thumbnails. I think it is clear enough.
