how many minutes of video can you shoot on a full battery?
JHDT_Productions 16 Jun 2009 14:33
Don't know, I never timed it since it seems to last a long time. I've never had to change batteries during a day of shooting.

Oke thanks guys!

And if im not mistaken Jake you said somewhere the extreme III is enought. They are alot cheaper the the IV version ;)

Yep,
I use the Extreme III, but I also bought some Kingston Elite pro that I found on sale for $19 each.
As long as the card is 133X its more then enough to handle the write speed of the camera.

Hey Jake, is there a way to get Neo Scene to convert to .AVI in 30 fps. Neo Scene is pretty simple with very little control and can't see where or how. If it's shot in 30fps it doesn't make sense for Neo Scene to convert to 29.97 fps and them let Adobe convert it back to 30 fps. Any ideas?

I use extreme 4 but it transfers faster, so I have a tiny netbook computer and I transfer video files to it real quick.

I would advise that you change the lense near a water source where there is a little bit of humidity (like a bathroom.) Water has a static electricity effect, it sucks dust out of a room. Thats also why a damp cloth cleans dust off a surface, its the natural physics of water.

The dynamic range is also so high on the 5d sometimes you literally need to decrease the contrast in AE. Which is amazing, ive never had a camera where you had to do that, (and its a good feature)

Also most people have a hard time balancing it without a stabilizer or tripod.
