If you are in the US, you can look into seeing if a nearby Starbucks has Google fiber internet, and upload footage there.

is apple pro res 422 proxy acceptable for them? its mental they want the file sizes to be gigabytes now

I had 50 clips rejected due to them being "overly compressed" I found this strange as the clips in question were straight out of the camera, so re-uploaded the exact same clips with no adjustments all 50 have now been approved within 24hrs! I had to wait 3 months before. I can only deduce from this that the curator was having a bad day, possibly due to being overworked to catch up with the backlog of clips. This is all well and good but having to re-upload the files adding titles and descriptions again takes time.

yeah interesting i think for me that mite not work as i had actually compressed them with h.246 and they have told me there more strict on compression now, i am uploading 2 clips at pro res and will try again see if they approve those 2 if so i re export all clips again and start the long slog of re uploading but i agree i think with the back log its has become an excuse

24 hours for review. How much did you bribe them? I'm not paying enough I guess. ;(

I upload all my clips h.264 because of slow internet speed and have never had a single problem. There must be something other than the codec they are referring to.

they never refused me until now as the same problem slow internet i noticed curators name was someone i never seen before but clips were carried on from a set already put online 3 months ago, doesnt make any sense

yeah i am worried they generally might not be happen with the quality of video itself which be annoying as it is HD no reason why not cant really afford 4k camera if thats what they want now, trying mp4 see how that goes

Sometimes size makes a difference, people think they are getting better quality with bigger files.
