PhotoJPEG vs. MPEG4

I'm sure this have been discussed before but I need to know.

I produced several clips that were .mov/MPEG4 (at max quality).

I must say the visual quality of the clips was on par with PhotoJPEG and of coure the clips were 1/10th the file size.

So.... is PhotoJPEG just more desirable for buyers?

Does any body sell h264/mpeg4 clips as much as they sell PhotoJPEG?

For most if not all stock agencies they require Photo JPEG for progressive and Motion JPEG for interlaced. This is a more universal standard. Yes they are much larger therefore the compression has not affected it as much and gives a buyer more data to work with. My suggestion, stick with .MOV and Photo or motion. Good luck.
