Scam email?

I received an email two months ago asking for my facebook link and link to portfolio on other agencies, and at that time I already have the ID verified status. So I'm still not sure if I'm approved. Does the ID verified status simply refer to the identification documents, not the social media thing?

Yes i read it and its propably as lawrence says,but some people commented (if i understood correctly) that since then they have received a confirmation based on the requirements of that email,which i didnt.

Like ymgerman said there is a confusion since some people were asked for their real id's at that email which many of us had provided a couple of years prior.

Can I make a suggestion and say that a follow up email be sent out to all those who received it stating that it was a technical error and to ignore it. Just to help calm any nerves, we all make mistakes especially when all it takes is a click of a button.

I only purchase content so I was a bit confused by this too.. wish they'd send a mail instead of making me hunt through the forums.

If it's accidental, I sure wish that they'd stop doing it.....just now got another.....and there are a LOT of scams out there where bad guys try to send you to a malware download claiming you need to verify your identification or email or account number or password or.....

Just to reiterate here - This email was only supposed to go out to artist accounts which are not yet verified, who we have contacted several times over the past 2 months. Every account gets a specialized link to verify their information, which is why the link does not work for most of you.
We apologisze for the confusion - that's totally out bad. Your info is not compromised, and if you have already verified your account or you are not a registered artist, you are all good.
