I do like hyper lapses, but as you said they take a gigantic amount of time, so I very rarely do

Thanks, yeah, they are very time consuming, especially the post production. But I learn from my mistakes what to avoid to speed up the process. For example, don't use 16 mm (on full-frame), go up to around 20-28 or so and it becomes easier to stabilize afterwards.
