Designer and animators

Is it common here for graphic designers to collaborate with animators?
For example, I like to animate objects in After Effects, but I'm bad at creating those objects in Corel Draw or Adobe Illustrator.

I am pretty good in AI...let me know if there is something you would like to work on together.
