Does anyone use this for their work?

I am looking at this for AVCHD files and some other conversion work with HDV.

Thanks,

Michael

Ok, this is a joke right? You know how much I talk about this product so you wanted to bring me out? LOL

I've used this since I bought the 5d. I also use it for my FX1 HDV camera. It really makes life easy editing and everything the software does in the background to enhance the video.
Wouldn't use anything else.

If you buy it, go to the Videoguys site to get it. They sell it for $99 so you save $30

Cool, thanks for the heads up. Just now headed over to the AVCHD cameras, but did not wish to drop a lot of $$$ on another computer just to work on the files.

hhahaha Jake, the spokesperson for neo scene.

I wish I would have had this a few weeks back when working with HDV on Final cut pro. The HDV WILL NOT open on FCP. What a bitch.

I have no problem opening HDV in FCP, Dapoopta. It's a processor or version issue. I don't understand what the fuss is about - other that managing the processor intensive AVCHD files. If you want to work with HDV files in the manner that NEO SCENE describes, why not just upload and convert them to Pro Res?
