Java upload or FTP? Or submit via DVD?

Is there any speed advantage when using one over the other?

Sorry if this question has been raised before.

Also, those of you who have large clip libraries on P5, do you just make a compilation DVD and send them in that way? I would think that would actually be the most efficient way to submit a large number of clips.

The speed should be pretty much the same with FTP and the Java uploader. The advantage of FTP is that you can resume an upload if it hangs part way through.

You're welcome to send in clips on DVD. A lot of people find this a faster way to do it, especially if you have a slow connection. The address and guidelines for mail-ins are https://www.pond5.com/de/document/mail_footage.html

Thanks so much for your insight. I'm hoping to really ramp up my production this year and will probably send in via DVD so I won't tie up my wife's (better/faster) computer!
