Guys, how do you open a 5DII .cr2 raw file in Photoshop CS3? Do I need some add-on or should it open the files naturally?

You'll have to upgrade to CS4 to open 5DII files.
Adobe isn't going to update CS3

Digital Photo Professional from Canon will open and convert the files to a TIFF. It actually works very well and you might find that you don't even need CS of any version. It comes with the Canon cameras at no charge.

You come with my camera Don? I don't think you'd fit in the box.
I don't take many photos, and usually don't shoot in raw. Just leave it on jpeg if I want to snap a shot or two during a shoot.

I know I can process them in Digital Photo Professional from Canon. That's what I do. Every time after shooting a time lapse session, my computer works one day to convert the CR2 to TIF. However I want to import them directly to PS or After Effects or Premiere to save time but it's not possible. Oh well. I will have to upgrade, as Jake said. Can you please send me the money?
