3D sales in P5 are practically 0. Add to that 3D clips are 3 times harder to shoot than 2D yet the average 3D clip prices in P5 seem to be for the most part cheaper than HD 2D clips. Is it worth buying such expensive equipment if the demand for this market is not there yet?

Even if you buy the GoPro 3D system the ROI with the current sales level in P5 is years ahead?

The $1,500 version seems to have very good reviews although it does not offer full manual control in 3D. But more important, can you extract without difficulties the left eye and right eye streams from the MVC file?
