How in earth does this website work...

I keep uploading tracks, but they just disapear without any notification being sent. Are they rejected and if so, eee why am I not getting any notification.

Am I just a complete idiot, what am I missing here?

And why does no one ever answer in these forums

Assuming you're properly set-up as a valid producer,

1. Upload you file(s) via FTP or HTTP
2. Wait until they show up in the "NEEDS EDIT" tab of your UPLOADS page (could take a day)
3. Tag them with appropriate information like keywords and descriptions
4. Submit finished files to the CURATOR to be reviewed (files will move to the PENDING tab)
5. Wait for review (could take upto a month)
6. Repeat with new clips

if they disappear before you get to fill in the metadata, it means they could be in the "processing" section (so neither pending, needs edits, or online) - select the processing section from the dropdown list of items to display. after a while they should go from processing to needs edits and u will be able to edit metadata on them. for them to go from "processing" to "needs edit" wont take more than a few hours. if after a day they are still in processing or missing completely from any section, theyre lost, but i think that happens rarely. if so, reupload but with different names (add a suffix or prefix) cuz if u do the same name it'll call them duplicates.

if the disappearing is after u sent them for review (so u already filled metadata and clicked on send) and they disappear, they are probably either online and u didnt select online from the dropdown, either pending or rejected (there's a "rejected" option in the drop down).

if by "disappear" u mean they dont show up in searches or in your portfolio, that takes a few days probably (if approved).

make sure u check the receive email notification setting on your profile settings, so that u get emails when reviewed.

Ok I stumbled upon the "needs edit" page and sent tracks for review. Don't know how I didn't see them before. Let's just agree I'm an idiot. Thank you for your responses
