New audio contributor

Hi guys-

So far I am enjoying my Pond5 experience. I made my first sale today, so I'm pretty psyched. I don't know if the upload process is different for the video guys, but the one thing that is a little tedious is the fact that ANY edit to your file other than the name requires resubmitting to curator.

I know the curators are busy, but this is a tweak that seems like it would make their lives and ours easier. Me wanting to change the name of the microphone I used or the price of the clip shouldn't demand a re-submit to curator as the only means of updating.

Am I missing something?

Hi,
Welcome to the pond.
I don't submit audio so I can't say there isn't something different but on the video side there are two buttons.
One that says "just save it" and one that says "submit to curator"
If I just make a change like price or keyword etc, I click "just save it"

Do you see those buttons?

Hi Jake-

Nope, the only options after doing an edit is "Save as Draft" (not sure what that is) and "Submit to Curator".

I wonder if the SAVE AS DRAFT button would work? Let me go give it a shot.

Well, "SAVE AS DRAFT" worked. It updated the metadata without requiring a resubmit to editor. Still kinda weird!

Hmmm, yeah wonder why the difference from video to audio.
