Sony VG-20

This camcorder seems to offer an advantage that DLSR do not offer; a clean uncompressed video signal out of the HDMI port while recording that enables you to attach a Ninja or Nanoflash.

Bigger sensor than the VG10 and many other problems solved.

What is all your fascination with uncompressed HDMI and the Ninja or Nanoflash? Will those technological advancements in equipment make any one a better videographer?

jason says: "Will those technological advancements in equipment make any one a better videographer?"
Long answer:"Certainly nope!"
Short answer is: "Nope!"

Jason, I wonder if you have ever considered an equipment like the Ninja in order to lower cost by not having to buy so many miniDV's for your FX1000?

Luxor I don't buy tapes for that camera as I have a recorder attached and record everything cf cards. The Ninja's screen is only 1" larger than the cameras LCD beside I also use a 7" HDMI monitor when shooting whether for stock or special events. Everything is attached to the tripod below the camera.

VG-20 with Atomos Ninja - not a very good review for Sony.
