Sound Effects

Does anyone (any contributor) have any insight into the websites protocols for sound effects? The process of review, and ultimately if something is not accepted vs accepted. I pull my hair out with reasons (not knowing them) why certain FX are not accepted. It would seem Pond5 could save themselves a lot of time, if there was some simple way to explain why something was not accepted...The curators / people reviewing the sounds have to take the time to listen to it. How hard could it be to tick off a box with a specific reason?
A simple method like this could be very useful. #1 , The site currently has too many sounds in the category. #2 Your file is too loud / quiet. #3 The sound quality is not good. And so on. This ultimately would prevent people from sending sounds / FX that the site does not want and or need. In the long run it would save the company time and money...

None of my sound effects are ever accepted (but my music always is) - and I have no idea why?!

From my experience, they no longer accept field recording sfx. However, they've recently accepted several effects that i made with synths- more sound design type stuff.
