Higher quality audio preview

I understand that even slightly increasing the quality of the previews/proxies that are created for audio uploads would mean they would take up a lot more room on your end, but right now I feel they are too "lo-fi" for high end audio people in the feature film realm to gauge wether or not they are what they are looking for.

That may be a small market though...just throwing it out there!

Toby, I highly agree, but I think the way it works is that buyers can purchase clips, be it audio or video, and if they aren't satisfied, they can get their money back. So if someone wants to hear the actual quality they will purchase the clip and if at that point it isn't good for them they will "return it."

Also, I think that if the audio quality previews become too good then buyers/thieves could record the sfx previews onto their computers if they have a simple audio recording setup (this only works on sfx that are less than 2-3 seconds before the "P5" audio logo comes up).

But maybe if the audio logo is moved to the beginning of the clip, then yeah, I would want a push towards higher quality audio sfx.

Totally Mike-

It's an interesting challenge for the future of this method of sales.
