Hi all, I am new to Pond 5, and desperately seeking your advice on how to fill up the "description" column, if metadata is sought, will only the file type and names be sufficient ?

All are important. This is the real work of stock media.

Title (descriptive, concise) : Ducks Floating on a Pond, Aerial Shot Overhead

Description: (as many words as it takes to make the picture of your clip without seeing it): Overhead aerial shot of ducks (duckus birdus) milling about on a pond in a park during a sunny springtime afternoon.

Keywords (every word a buyer might use to possibly find your clip .. .be accurate, but also creative, without spamming) : duck, bird, quack, aerial, overhead, high angle, floating, pond, water, lake, peaceful, park, day, sun, afternoon, sunny, rippling, swimming, wildlife, fowl, waterfowl, birds, cute, green head, mallard, playful, beak, bill, feathers, wings, webbed feet, animal, overhead, springtime

ALL of this information you enter is used. The rest (camera, time it was shot, whether it has sound, country of origin, etc) may or may not affect your sales. But Title, Description, Keywords = VERY VERY IMPORTANT. Also do not forget to select the best thumbnail frame!
