I used a 200mm with a 2x converter, hence 400mm x 1.6 crop factor. And yes, it is a time lapse. :) f-stop 8.0 iso 3200 0.8 sec shutter

Thank you Andreas for very detailed info!
Was it somewhere ~60min after sunset? How far (in frames) from comet were Uranium Mars and Moon?
vadervideo 13 Mar 2013 16:02
The moon was about 45 degrees to the north west ahead of the comet in regards to setting, the latter planets were pretty much right above it to the left I believe. We had such clear skies all the way to the west coast, the stray light really played a roll in washing the sky out until way later. Of course by then the comet had already set below the horizon. Yes, this was approx 60 minutes after sunset and actually only lasted about 10-12 minutes. (Fast interval for shooting). If you closely though, you will see several UFO's flying by as well. :) (actually they are planes, but is sounds more dramatic if I use the term UFO)

Thank you for the info again. I saw at least 2 UFO's
Today is more clear sky with some clouds here and I'll try to shoot this comet. But still freezing temperature and strong winds could be a problem staying on the top of the hill...

Yes - cameras don't like the cold either. :) - We have been very fortunate weather-wise. Super clear skies and we are supposed to hit 90 degrees (F) by tomorrow. I will see again tonight about shooting the comet if time permits. Unfortunately or should I say fortunately, I have several projects (actual work) on the table right now. But a comet is worth dropping the work for. :)

I only managed to get a setting Moon. Started to shoot ~1 hour after sunset and finished ~2 hours after sunset. No trace of a comet or even Uranus planet - it was to bright here. And freezing -15C cold + wind. Also saw few UFOs flying here:
