I discovered a video tutorial how to remove the watermark from the pond5 previews.

I had to report this clip to YouTube and pond5.
Feel free to do it the same way.

I'd suggest a less transparent watermark with additional lines at titlesafe areas.

What do you think about?

That makes me furious.

It might not be worth suing lame youtubers... BUT If you see any of your clips being used by one of the idiots who thanks them, I suppose you can change the price to 5000 dollars. Then request that they "pay" for the clip or provide proof of purchase.

ehhh actually it looks like everyone who is doing it is a 13 year old girl. I don't think we are losing much money here, the youtube clip still needs to be removed.

Of course the method they show to use is pretty worthless as well. Add a gaussian blur in both vertical and horizontal... gee - what would that do to a clip that has lets say some depth of field and people, and animals and and and ... pretty worthless trick if you ask me.

Yea, I agree with you Vader. This is going to give you a blurry video. You'd be better off downloading a FULL HD clip from youtube and blurring the crap out of it. In the end they both will look like trash

That's my clip! I have contacted Pond5 and done a Copyright Infringement Notification via youtube. I tried to call them but got no answer just there phone system. If you want I will keep you guys up to date on what happens with this.
