Keyword overage

I don't think this has been explained by P5 to the artists. I, like hundreds of other artists have thousands of footage that now show -18 or more keywords since the last big changes. I've looked at some of mine and a very large percentage shows a minus on keywords, in other words, there are too many keywords. These footage all met the standards when the keywording was done.

My question and concern; are all the keywords still searched or does the algorithym drop the minus words and not use them on searches? If they are not used which words are not used? It would be an impossible task to go back and edit all the videos that show too many keywords.

Are these older footage "grandfathered" so all the keywords are used in searches? Sure looks like a mess to me.

I'm trying to check mine.

Open one of your videos, go to edit and then there is a number above on the right side of the keyword block. Problems is ya have to do that with each clip individually.

We need an answer on this from P5, I have a lot of footage that once was good and now show many many keywords over or a "minus" number. This could be a real concern with the last major changes.

I sent a message today asking for help. On some of my recent clips the only key words showing are from the checked boxes , on other only the word I typed in and not the checked box information. My goal I told myself is to go back and redo five of ten a day, it's a very slow process because everytime you edit one and save it takes you pack to page one.

Same here. I'm still finding clips with no keywords.

P5? Is it time to back the last major changes out. Just seems like far too many issues that make artists uncomfortable. If we can't trust the keyword and search changes it makes some of us doubt. Yes sales are good and starting to climb but is accuracy lacking and actually holding potential buyers back? Having to go back over thousands of individual footage to make fixes that were not a problem is not possible.

P5? What happens with old footage that was ok and now has too many keywords under the new changes??

Their participation seems to come in spurts... They get flustered when people start putting pressure on them and answer a flurry of questions for a few days to a week, then they disappear again and ignore everything. It's really frustrating. Especially after I was told they would make a much better effort to participate in the forums.

I'm trying to get a eta for you guys on this, but nothing solid so far. It's on our list, and we're doing our best to get it resolved.
