Thanks, Gene. The dead tree in the surf is from a 'bone yard' beach on Botany Bay, Edisto Island, South Carolina. The tree was once a massive oak but the ocean overtook it. There are a ton of dead oaks on that beach. The beach is all natural too. It is illegal to remove any seashells so there are massive conch shells everywhere. There are very few bone yards on the east coast. I think we live in a beautiful country :) I LOVE LOVE LOVE your music in your Mists video! Beautiful scene and beautiful music..wow

Love the video Shannon. I was wondering about that tree in the surf myself. That is really cool.
Andy, Really like your timelapse.

Awesome stuff guys... all around. Gene I didn't know you had such an angelic voice. ;) Gene, I did invest a bit of time, but it's not as bad as one might think. I learned some really cool tricks from Adam Epstein (SNL) last summer at a one day crash course from him. The dirty tricks he taught us were awesome. Of course he is the expert as he usually only has 12 hours (if lucky) to get the productions out for SNL. So I absorbed his knowledge and bag of tricks to produce this thing. I was amazed at how fast it worked. Before that, I would have looked at this as a daunting task for sure.

Last Letter Home

This was for fun and playing with CG.

Nothing on TV

And a trailer for a non-existent movie I had an idea for.

Jake, You are really talented. Good actor and director!!

Shannon - thank you! Thanks for posting the boneyard and info ... very spooky.

Andy - dirty tricks - gotta love'm! (I captured an elven maiden and wouldn't let her out until the track was done) With time lapse investment - In fact I'm so slow I tend not to do a lot of those bigger-span TL shots....plus, it's cold out there, but still lots to learn!

Jake, as Dapoopta asked in one of your comments - "How did you get so badass?" Very cool.

Thanks Pat - what you got up your sleeve, eh? Let's see it!

I've got another ice (it's always the ice, eh?) I'm working on, gotta make another song first, but here's yet another winter flying thing.

Thanks Jake! I am with Gene, how did you get so badass??? I would love to shoot my tv :) Actually I would prefer to shoot my husband's xbox :D I love your memorial video, that is very moving. You need to make your assassin movie!

Andy, I wish I could hang out with a bunch of you guys and learn your tricks!

Gene, you can't help but get tons of ice up there, but you make ice look inviting and beautiful!!!

Fireworks in Niagara Falls

Mizamook 16 Jan 2015 02:46
Now that's a cool concept Charline! I dare you to try a day to night ending with fireworks timelapse next time...I dare ya!

I missed - I meant to make a song to put some specific video to, but it got away from me, rather, took over my week. I'll make another version, simpler, for my ice and misty waves scenic stuff.
