I take on board what you say and again appreciate your help. I am pretty good of making the best of limitations. Too much choice can kill creativity. After reading customer reviews on Amazon, Youtube I am def veering in the direction of the GH3. I have a whole summer to get out there and work and cover a lot round here that isn't much covered. Perhaps if I get a top notch graphics card to handle video it will help.

This is my Spec: i5-3570 3.4 ghz, 8 GB ram, Windows 7 home premium 64 bit. I think you can edit video in Lightroom but if not I have Magix software.

For the GH3. What lens would you recommend ?

I am seriously thinking of the Canon 6D because of the full size sensor as well as high quality.

Marbury, your PC is fine but maybe an upgrade to 16gb of memory, a large and fast second hard drive for your media files, it's always a good idea to have separate drive for editing, and a decent graphics card. In addition, a decent size monitor is really helpful.
A lot of people on PC's use Sony Vegas to edit with, also look at Adobe Premiere and associated products.

Ok Thanks. Do you mean Adobe Premiere elements ? I already have a good monitor Dell 2209 WA

80% of my portfolio shot on 600d. I have a 7d too. But for macro shooting and street shooting it easier 600d. On 600d video requires post processing - remove noise!

I think I have made my mind up with the GH£. Can anyone recommend the best lens for video/stills for the GH3 ?
