Thanks for the replies. I will try and take the 550D with me everywhere, I hope canon bring out a pancake lens but I will look and see what's available. The kit lens doesn't weigh much, I replaced it with a heavy L lens but will use it when I want something easier to carry around.

Still not sure if I should switch from 25p to 30p. I'm in Europe and I presume most of my British landscape portfolio sells to European buyers. Are they going to prefer 30p to 25p?

Yes, Euro buyers prefer 25p because they work in that natively... However, it's MUCH more difficult to convert 25p to 30p than 30p to 25p. And you never know when a U.S. buyer will want Euro footage. You might be self-limiting your marketability.
