First, on the "Overview" page there is a count of the number of items uploaded, need tagging, and need to be reviewed.
It would be nice if those numbers were links and when you clicked on them only the specified clips loaded. I don't have near the number of clips that others do, but I anticipate that as my count grows higher, the longer it's gonna take to tag them because I gotta wait for everything to populate the list.
Second, the Categories menu needs a specific link to "latest files". I know I can get them fairly easily through the search, but every stock site I visit, one of the first things I do is look through the latest stuff and it's not as easy to do here.
Is the "default mode" based on the latest stuff approved? Because if I change the search criteria to "date uploaded", it's kind of skewed... If I upload an image and forget to tag it for a month, then tag it and get it approved, sorting by date uploaded is misleading as to when it was added to the site.
So "latest files" should be based on Curator Approval date and not upload date.
Finally, can you post somewhere the criteria for what goes into the "Curator's Choice". It "looks arbitrary" but I'd like to know if it's based on personal feelings, number of sales, stage of the moon, etc....
Thanks!

Another suggestion...
I know that users can post footage requests in the forums, but many may not know how or ever even visit the forums.
I saw on another site where a user can create a footage request ticket. Artists can then view all open tickets and submit clips to the user for review. If/when a user finds what they need, they can close the ticket. Tickets auto-close after 30 days.
What the other site does not do, but would be nice, is allow the user to attach clips (or a clip bin) already on the site as examples of what is "close" to what they need. When a ticket is created by a user who does attach clips, the artists of those clips would get sitemail so they can check out those specific tickets.
Artists who abuse the ticket system by suggesting items which aren't even close are banned from using the ticket system.
