No real backstory. I have notice on my last six months, I now get very few views on those thousand new clips. I have some close friends and family that are getting started here. It does take time. Stock video is not a get rich quick business. It takes time and persistence. Quality is very important, perception of quality is also very important and quantity is just as important. With over a million clips here and several other successful agencies the value of footage is still strong but competition is increasing. So many new artists give up or question why with a few dozen or even a few hundred clips they are not making good money. It takes time and need a proven quality and quantity portfolio. Once in a life time or very high production value clips may and will sell faster. Normal everyday landscapes are getting to be common and competition is drastically increasing. The moral of the story ... shoot specific footage that is unique. Watch tv ads and see what they are using. Look at the artist resources and see what the best selling in last week and month shows. Be patient is sometimes very difficult for everyone in this industry, especially when getting started.
