Footage donation for non-profit organization

Hi all! Long-time contributor, first time posting on the forum :)

So, besides creating stock media, my partner and I run a video production business where we create ads and purchase/use a lot of stock footage. We are currently working pro-bono for a non-profit, who will be bringing together experts on the various crises in the Middle East & North Africa. They will host open forums where these professionals from all walks of life will talk about issues like terrorism, gender equality, climate change, etc. and try to find peaceful and sustainable resolutions.

Generally we'd just charge the buyer for media purchased, but in this case they have a very small budget. However, we love their mission, hence we are working pro bono and trying to figure something out for them.

So, my question is - does anyone know how I can go about getting footage donations for a video for a non-profit organization? None of my own work concerns the middle east/north africa, unfortunately. I've been looking on all kinds of free sites, but the options are extremely limited. Is it allowed to contact fellow artists here on Pond5 who have relevant footage, and ask if they'd be willing to donate it?
