Watermarks on audio files?

Can I ask the music/sfx contributors: have you noticed any change in sales - positive, negative, not at all - since the watermark was removed?

It's been three and a half months now (7th December), so a fair amount of time to make an assessment.

I don't make many sales, but in the past a spike in views of a certain track would often lead to one, but that hasn't happened lately.

I'll get the cluster of views still, but no sale follows.

There may of course be a legitimate reason for this, but it does make me wonder if they're now being taken rather than bought (despite the low resolution audio).

So I thought I'd ask here to see what's happening for you?
