I have a great idea about pricing for photos and videos I will post it soon.

There are a number of pricing threads on photos, dig a little deeper and you can see what the old heads here feel.
Here at P5 the income from photos is only 3.65% of the total sales. Low pricing just does not add up to a significant income flow, especially when it gets down to the individual artist.
I have about 2,500 photos. It is much slower than footage but there are almost eight times more photos than clips. Most photos at P5 are the standard isolated detail type product or person stock, a dime a dozen type products. The micro agencies on the photo side have been active for much longer than footage and prices were driven down. Almost all these agencies have realized that since they are stuck with dollar stock when they got into footage they didn't make the same mistake and sell footage for substantially higher.
I feel the price difference between the different sizes is too big. Photos are completely different than footage. For broadcast footage the size is more important, HD is needed more often. With photo small 72 dpi sizes are all that is needed for electronic display on cell phones, tablets, computers etc. With Magazine or newsprint also a much small version is needed. Therefore I have found that buyers do not buy the full size version, just not needed in most applications.
Because of this I and many others have raised prices so when a lower size is purchased there is more than a dollar made. There are sellers with well over a hundred thousand photos that price the full size at several hundred dollars.
There are hundreds of thousands of several hundred dollar photos for sale here. Also agencies like Alamy, Getty, SuperStock etc continue to be very successful at selling higher prices photos and do very well. For me I make over 50 times more each month at Alamy with about the same number of photos as here.
As mentioned previously, there are a lot of very very successful stock sellers here at P5 who have figured out the pricing strategy very well here. They are the ones I would strongly advise new artists to listen to.

Today the most popular photo has only 5 downloads. For some reason I expected a higher number even though P5 just started selling photos a few months ago. I was shocked to see one of my shots in the number 2 slot at 4 downloads.
Most were priced a different prices for different sizes. Mine is priced at the same price for all sizes.

On the Edit Screen...price, Set the price for me, Then the next question says something like, same price for all sizes. I don't know of a way to change them all at once.
Love your portfolio.
