GoPro Hero3 Exposure Lock Petition!!!

It's very hit and miss but I have had some success with my Hero 2 and I wouldn't be able to get my on board shots without it.

Yup the issue presented was flicker due to not being able to lock-down the exposure. LOL it's impossible to keep on subject for some ;)

Overhead, did you do a vertical flip.. those people are on the wrong side of the street.

@OverheadProductions Funny how you listed that footage above as shot with a Panasonic HVC200 and not a Hero 2.

OK, I'll check out that forum there. Thanks.

I'm disturbed and saddened that I don't see any more signatures though. I'm not debating the value of the camera and system....it certainly has its uses. I'm about to integrate it into the system on my 60 VW as we head out on the 13th Annual Mt. Shasta Snow Trip (roster up to 42 vintage buses hitting the backroads this year!), and I'm sure I'll get some killer shots.

I'd get a lot more if it didn't flicker.

Jello effect is an evil thing, but unless I use CCD cameras, the onus is on me to keep the damn thing from vibrating.

Note: GoPro mounts benefit greatly from additional added rigidity and support when mounted to moving (especially land-based) vehicles.

Please sign the petition! Give us one chance to make a statement tha might have an effect. Remember - this is a team - without us, they are shooting blanks, and all someone has to do is come up with viable, similarly-priced, functional product with the features we are asking for, and maybe even environmentally-responsible packaging, and BOOM. They just lost an entire segment of their customer base.

Overhead: I still don't see the camera model fixed in the video. Really misleading to a buyer. Also It really needs to be stabilized to be of any value. Removing the jitter and jello and the bumps will make the footage sell-able. It does look like a GoPro video.

In any case, my friends, I write the following model in the Camera/Software field:

GoPro3 Black edition professional camera

Please respect the camera and do the same.
