New version of Pond 5

I uploaded files for the first time using the new version of the website and I noticed in the process it never asked for categories of my footage. Does the new version of the website not ask to assign categories or is something not working correctly?

I hope not. Categories are worthless. I've been saying that for years.

Another thread from P5 said categories are no longer being used.

Have to remember to go to V2 to tag. Yesterday I tagged some clips using the old version and it still asked for categories.

How to use old version?
I uploaded via " Video Template" but categories are still missing after that

@sylwiab. If you look at thetop of any P5 Page you'll have a choice to try new version or go back to old version.

While they're working on the new version I wish they'd make our home country default. I only use "Country" when it's relevant but it's a pain to use the list. I know it can be done because our copyright is default.

There are no more categories, that is the new normal.
