select frame as thumbnail

Hi, Marcus!

a. mouseover works OK and now I can see some details.

b. OK - understood. Untill now I thought that thumbnail was a first frame. Tom thinks right :) But sometimes 1s offset is not good, especially for fast moving objects and would be good to enter exact offset in 00.00s.

Fixing this you did excellent job in a very short time!

I checked the mouseover preview for selected clips and it worked OK so far. May be somebody else will find problems. I checked with Firefox on Windowss XP.

You can change the thumbnail for your clips by selecting them on your MyPond > Uploads page and choosing "change thumbnail" from the dropdown at the bottom. You'll then be able to select from up to 10 thumbnails that are extracted at 1-second intervals from the clip.

For the moment, alternate thumbnails are only available for clips that were uploaded recently. We'll be going through the collection to fix any older clips' thumbnails soon. If you have clips that need new thumbnails, drop us a line and we'll put them on the list of clips to update.

The still frame offset is still not working for older clips...

Can you do autochange thumbnail? If default thumbnail is absolutly black or white or other color, system must choose some more interesting thumbnail.
More over system can found more multicolored thumbnail

When action in a clip starts off slowly the 10 thumbnails are almost blank. See the 10742298 for example. Could you please spread the available 10 thumbs evenly across the whole clip instead of just the first 10 seconds?
That would allow for a better clip representation in many cases.
Thank you.

@logoboom - excellent suggestion, I second that!

My sunrises are often too dark in the first 10 thumbnails.
