"copy metadata from item"

When i will the data from an older clip to a new clip copy, there is a function: "copy metadata from item"
But when i take it, a pop-up window will then open and showing my clips.
However, the list starts with the oldest clip and then I have to scroll down a few thousand clips to my latest clips.
Isn't there a function to display the clips in reverse order?
The newest clips first?
Or a clip search function?
