Today is the 3rd anniversary of the Gabriel Giffords shooting tragedy.

I was there a few hours after the fact. However, I had plans to attend her "Congress on the Corner" event. Having woken up with a fever, I decided to not go. This was the only time that I was actually lucky to have had the flu. But as said, I was called to go shoot for various networks within a few hours. It was truly a tragic event considering the fatalities involved. I created this collection on the pretense that the proceeds would go to the Christina Green Fund (the young girl that was killed). Today, any proceeds will go to the various organizations involved or that were created thereafter regarding this tragic event, as the Christina Fund no longer exists. The collection contains shots from that day's events as well as many additional days of marches as well as the fly over of the Space Shuttle Endeavor honoring Gabby's husband and Gabby of course.
