Looking for an effect

I am a bandleader of a Salsa Band. I saw this really nice video with a performing group and it had a transition that made the payers appear like they were coming from a tunnel of light. If anyone out there knows what i'm talking about I would love to either get this effect or show me how do get it done in after effects. Manny, If i'm not mistaken, I think that it is just a simple clip to clip "Transition" effect called "Cross Zoom", used in iMovie v10.0.3.
