Various V2 Issues

I am using Google Chrome - not sure if these are browser specific - the first one I am sure is not.

Formerly Bins now "Collections" do not always show very small thumbnails, even when clips have been approved and are online and searchable - this was also the case in V1.

When you click on an artist profile and select "all collections" it does not show all collections only a limited number and I can see no option for "next" or "load more".

If you select "all collections" for an artist and then click on a collection and then goes back it defaults to "popular media"

Can we please stop the "Collections" box at the bottom of the screen automatic pop up (at least for sellers). This is really annoying!

In a similar way it would be nice if you select "tech data" or "sales data" on the my uploads page that it didn't default to "clip details" each time you search or change a parameter such as collection

I also use Chrome and have problem with my collection. The difference between V1 & V2 is the size of thumbnails in V2 they are larger and it shows all the clips. In V1 thumbnails are smaller and you can choose how many you'd like to view which cannot be done in V2.

Just switched over to IE and checked my collection and there is no difference in how thumbnails are presented all of them come up the same way as in Chrome.

The pop up is bit of a pain but there are also few other things that really need to be addressed before the new version goes on line.

Massive checking files and 'add to bin' does not works in V2

Uploads Pages numbers at the bottom shows in a column instead of row in V2

On the profile page there is no direct link to artist's portfolio.

There is, if you click on the number of files, you get to the portfolio. But it´s not obvious. Should be a better link.

Just tested the "All collections" option in 3 different browsers (IE, Firefox and Chrome).

Non show all the collections (formerly bins) - the limit seems to be 25 and all browsers have the same issue with missing small thumbnails in certain bins, sorry collections!

That limit doesn't work in V2 but it does in V1. TE have you cleared the cookies in your system? For awhile I couldn't get into V2 using Google Chrome until the temp's/cookies were cleaned up.

As I said in the past thread that the collections works find for me. One of my bins has 106 clips in it and all of them show up in version 2.

I also checked the thumbnail size and that also worked perfectly. You know of course that you can change the size of those thumbnails by using the ctrl key + or -.

As I have said there are a few things that have to be addressed before they present V2 at this years NAB show.

Just had a serious blowup while using Chrome. I submitted a clip for review using V2 just for trial sake. But instead of what I usually do which is just save, i saved and submitted. Then all hell broke loose. It immediately tried to load facebook of all things and gave a fatal error. So I closed chrome, restarted and went back to pond5 - it did it again instantly. Tried again with mouse ready to go to old version, it went and then did it again with facebook. Only after I cleared all cache and cookies was I finally able to get back in. I checked before hand with IE and that worked fine. So I have been able to narrow it down to a Chrome issue. There is some weird issue with Chrome when loading a page in pond5 that had any link to facebook on the page. It might also be cookies from facebook (wouldn't surprise me at all) - These browsers social networking sites are starting to be more of a pain in the ass than anything else. I will see if I can recreate the error again. I am hoping it was just a fluke. But if I can recreate it, then it may become a problem not just for sellers, but also buyers. Stay tuned.

Followup: Have not been able to recreate the issue so far. Must have been a fluke, but in any case, if this happens to you, simply flush the cache and cookies in chrome. Google strikes again!

There seem to be a real huge bug trying to organize clips to bins in V2.
I´m on MacBookPro osx 10.8.2, tried with Firefox 18.0.2 and Safari 6.0.2
Marking the clips and then choosing Add to active bin in the action field at the bottom results in nothing.
Going back to earlier version everything working fine!
