What would you price?

OK I just now submitted these, they are a little blurry because thats how the server processes previews for new clips

What would you price them for if they were your clips? $10? $40? $560?

I know the last one looks like I was cheesing when I made it, but it should have a lot of uses.

hahaha Cheesing. South park rocks!

Not sure what to price... do they take long to make?
ironstrike 6 Jan 2009 22:48
Several hours for each, . They SHOULD be high value because they would be most useful to mid range b-movies.

They aren't hollywood, but ive made similar clips like this before, they should inflate production value to 1000 dollars which means anything below that woud be a good price (like 500) ... t

I don't want to hear pricing strategy from anyone :P
Just numbers :)
south park does rock.
Frenchtoast 6 Jan 2009 23:53
go high, if they don't sell, you can always drop the price.
orbitrob 7 Jan 2009 00:51
i'd go high too - as per frenchtoast's comment - you can always 'drop the price'.

how about $189.00 per clip?
(that is if they're only available for sale on P5 - so as to avoid ticking off a customer who may discover the same clip on a competitor site for $50.)

i like the last clip. its kind of insane.
ironstrike 7 Jan 2009 01:00
Cool thanks for the input! Im trying to make my clips higher value by making them more unique and detailed. and yeah I wouldnt submit to other sites partially for that reason.

insane is a good keyword, ill add that!

You have a very stylized look to allot of your work, it's cool I like it.

Price Hell man I don't know your going to have to learn what works for your stuff. Hopefully high, it's different in a good way so I think you can command a high dollar price for it.
ironstrike 7 Jan 2009 17:18
Thanks Bryan, I guess I was just trying to figure out how other artists would gauge the value of my work. I wouldn't be offended if you all said 10 dollars... seriously.

I probably shouldn't have asked for price because everyone seems to have a dif strategy, and some artists don't seem to believe that PV exists :(
bryanbush 7 Jan 2009 18:01
Yeah I think and I want to believe that you can get great money multiple times for them, unfortunately and fortunately your style is very rare, it makes it hard to gauge for anyone.

Yeah the price questions where is that damn dead horse at? No this was different and original at least.

The nice thing is if you sell some thing one time at 500 it will pay for your time. Depending on how much you pay yourself.

While trying to watch the third clip, I get the following message:
"This clip is not online - 305058"
Please explain.
