So since we now know that the "include Sensitive Content" does not work either checked or not ... not sure any of it really works. Most web sites if a check mark is grayed out it means it's selected by default. If it dark or blue it means it's selected by the user. Since everything has a check mark it appears everything is selected all the time? When hitting "x CLEAR FILTERS" nothing happens; everything is selected by default with check marks by everything. Seems like a clear should clear ALL checkmarks in the entire list.

How about getting the filters fixed, not just "sensitive" but all of them. Even when sensitive is checked and dark everything still shows. It's difficult ... no it's impossible to help notify you when something slips through since everything slips through. Even when not logged in everything shows. This isn't picking on any subject, it's giving the viewer the option, currently there is no option that works anymore. Maybe the one artist that has been highlighted for a couple weeks on the front page new uploads who specializes in adult photos needs to share the spotlight with some of the other tens thousand photos and footage.

Simple question P5 ... When you send a Splash out do you highlight and print full frontal nudes in the Splash? If not then why on the web site?

edit: For heck sake, he only has 1,200 photos yet has had the front page for about two weeks. Is this an active decision by someone at P5 to show his work?

I don't know if the filters are broken or not. I think by your standards they're not working so they must be broken. Maybe P5 thinks the photos increase visitors to the site that buy content. History is filled with books are bad so burn them and art is bad so spray paint over it. My only question is the person charging enough to cover cost? In this case I hope one squeaky wheel doesn't set policy and take the whole site into a filtered world where everyones pet protest is filtered. I'm sure there is plenty of hardcore porn on the web for those looking for it. If P5 sends out a questionnaire to all users and producers then maybe there would be a case to change. I didn't even know there was a sensitive section until my dead fish got sent there.

I have received two direct contacts from P5 apologizing for the mistakes on this matter. Stating they are working the issue. Slim I recognize and respect your feelings, I truly do. I am not the only one, there are numerous others that have and continue to make contact with P5 over this. P5 for years have stated that adult material would be filtered. V2 and programming changes messed the filter up. Now the filter just plain doesn't work, ya can't even block it anymore if you wanted to. They have and continue to state they are working to fix the problem. While they work at it only one artists photos are showing up on the from page. He is a great photographer and his photos show good skill at what he does. With only 1,200 photos here at P5 the real question is why has his work been the primary new uploads for the last couple week which also happen to be full frontal nudes? A few others have been mixed in but a majority has been one artist. So it is not a case to be changed by vote but fixing something that was already decided a long time ago. If anyone chooses to have these or similar photos or footage displayed on the front screen for their children, grandkids, or in the work place, the option should be made available easily. Agree hardcore adult material is a billion dollar business, any reputable adult site will also have a verify of age to enter ... of course anyone can lie about it. If Victorias Secret is blocked at many businesses (one of our P5 artists verified that her hospital has done that) where full nudity is not shown do you thing P5 as a business really wants to take that chance? They have already officially stated that they don't and will filter.

Again Slim, your dead fish IMHO should not offend people, IMHO it was wrong to filter a dead fish. I do respect your feelings on the dead fish and your desire to show full frontal nudity on the front page and every page at P5. Many do disagree on the nudity part.

The simple question again ... will P5 sent a Splash to all buyers and sellers with full frontal nudity. I would think not. Let's see.

Then we should call for all women to wear burkas so as not to offend our Arab neighbors. As for a hospital maybe they should use the China doll to point to the pain as they use to do in China and may still do so the woman doesn't have to expose herself to the doctor.. I understand a business not wanting an employee sitting in a business where they work doing web searches on there property for any reason other than what they are paid to do. When I was working you couldn't do any private searching on the computer.
I heard on the radio the other day that one of the Everly Brothers died, they also mentioned that when the song "Wake Up Little Suzie" first came out that it was banned by many radio stations for being too suggestive. Times change and it's not that I care whether or not it's on the front page, kids are sexting pictures of themselves to each other. Keep in mind there's nothing keeping the kids from using the secret button on P5 to get all the pictures you want to hide. If the hospital filters all sites with nudes then P5 and probably all the other stock sites will be filtered out anyway if the pictures are still here.
As for the same photographer being displayed for days at a time, I guess they just want to feature their work be cause it's good. I don't think I've ever seen yours or mine on the right side of the page. Oh well.
I don't know how I can be a right wing, redneck, good ole boy and still be so liberal about something I view as so nothing.

Slimm, you don't get it. Don is right. Every lingerie and swim suit site is blocked where I work and these women are not naked. My company doesn't know P5 has nudity or they would block it. Making it so readily seen on the home page is very risky. Besides I don't want to see nudity, I get enough of it at work :/ Other sites like SS and RS don't have it showing on their home pages, why does Pond?

The U.S. Standing liberty quarter came out topless in 1916, by the end of 1917 she got a chain mail top. Any details you could see on a quarter were extremely minor but the prudish, righteous, concerned citizens got their way. I agree most people look better with clothes. Many people like to call themselves artist on these stock sites and this is because they think they are creating art in some cases. For thousands of years artist have been making art work with naked people. The artist here don't seem to agree. I think it's great that the company and owner of the place you work provide you with a desk, internet, lights, and warmth to do your P5 projects. Most places would not. Show your concerns for men and women in the Middle East by wearing a burka, millions of women have to because of the rules in their part of the world. If the internent is available there all women should respect there wishes. I know you are saying that sound silly. What you are saying is that everyone should respect your moral concerns and you don't care about the rest of the world, I understand that. Art is art and you can't see it and if you don't want to see it no one else should. P5 will most likely do as you wish and it's their business to do so. This is not an art gallery it's a sales site. Good luck to the man or woman that has been creating all the recent shots, job well done.

Dude, my company doesn't see it is 'art'. What I do on P5 is on my lunch break, my personal time. Our internet access is very limited and even if we had internet during working hours I wouldn't have time to visit it. You shouldn't be quick to judge. We have the IT police and they do check websites visited from time to time. It isn't just my moral concerns, it is major companies.
FYI..I don't understand the whole dead fish thing either. I would think you would be upset more by them showing nudity rather than a dead fish.

Miss Dude, This sounds like the story of the person in NY City complaining about people undressing in front of a open window. Every time they look through their telescope they can see them a mile away. I just saw a woman in a bikini on the just sold. I was shocked! Shocked P5 shouldn't allow this.

My wife just said I can't play anymore because you'll never understand. Have a good day, you win.

I find much humor in this topic. Seems everyone keeps forgetting 1st amendment and also a little fact about who this site is geared towards. Sorry Shannon, but hospitals aren't typical clients that purchase stock footage, hence, you personally are the exception by using this for your own purposes during a lunch break at a facility that blocks certain sites. This is not a reason or just cause for this to be changed. So far there are only two people that keep pushing this issue. That is less than an iota of a percentage of all artists, not to mention buyers. Buyers have never (so far) had an issue with this. At least if they do, they have not mentioned this as a problem. Perhaps we should show more people getting run over, decapitated, shot, mutilated etc as they do on your typical prime time television program. Quite honestly, I would much rather see some sweet stuff rather than the violence, but I am merely an iota of the audience and simply have to put up with it. I have known and worked with an attorney that specializes in 1st Amendment. You wouldn't have a chance in regards to this according to the law. As far as the commentary from Don about things constantly showing up on the P5 home page... I have checked and can not find this. Perhaps P5 presents things according to recent searched based on your personal cookie on your computer? I don't knwo if that is how the home page works, but it is a possibility. I shall test this by searching for nude, sex etc.. and see if my version of the home page starts showing the same. As said, I don't know if the algorithm does this or not, so testing would seem appropriate. :)

This is such a minor issue, yet I see that the personal subtle attacks are taking place. Everyone should remember, that being able to participate on a site and/or agency like this is a privilege and you are by no means forced to participate. If you don't like how things are running here, you always have the option to quit. We have seen this happen not too long ago. I applaud the individual that did so as they stuck to their convictions. That individual really believed and acted upon his/her convictions. You always have that same option.

Bikini is covered, Slimm. I am not arguing moral implications, simply the business aspect. I am not dumb enough to try to argue whether or not to show pictures of naked sexy women with a bunch of men. Vader, I don't work for a hospital. This is a very large orthopedic practice that does advertise, I have seen them use stock footage. We are the largest in the south east and are spreading nationally. If this company is offended it is highly possible others could be. I am here to make money adn would hate to see businesses ban this site. I hate violence too and am happy and content not to see it, which is why you rarely catch me in front of a tv. If I don't like it I don't look at it..simple as that. So, Slimm, the telescope thing doesn't pertain here.
As far as the cookie on the computer, I doubt it because I don't search that stuff. Of course, I am not the only person to ever use this computer so who knows, but at my home computer...it isn't searched.
