Interesting if the rumored specs are true...
1080p @ 30/25/24 fps
720p @ 30/25/24 fps (no 60 fps)
22 megapixel stills
Articulated display (like the Nikon D5000)
$1200 retail.

What??
So they are going to keep rolling out other models and kill the sales of the previous model?
That dosen't make sense, The 7D is $1600, who would buy that with this one comes out.
I do like the atriculated display, and 22 mp stills, that may be a reason to sell the 7D and get this one.
I don't use the 60fps anyway

Hmm... no full frame... my 5D is safe ;-).
The full frame is AMAZING, and I couldn't live without it. FF + 50mm f1.4 is money!

Yeah, I wouldn't think its a contender for the 5D but the 7d sales will go in the toilet if this one comes out.

Well that's progress. Buy it today and outdated tomorrow.

22 MP on a APS-C sensor (I suppose)? Hopefully it comes with Noise Ninja :)...
The articulated display would be good, but I prefer to have the double frame rate option, and 18 MP stills.

The articulated display is a nice feature, but I'm so use to my 8" ikan that I don't look at the built-in display anyway. And yes, I do use the 60fps quite frequently.

Considering that "time lapse and slow motion" seem to be selected (keywords list) and always seem to be near the top, I would say for slow motion 60P is a must have. Even better would be 10000P - but that gets a bit pricey. :)

Yeah, maybe I should do more slow motion.
I like using my Marshal monitor too but that articulated LCD would be very handy for tight places or when I'm trying to be stealthy.

So Jake, when you are stealthy, do you carry your gun too? And do you look the part as in "secret agent"? :)
