Corrupt codec?

I have no idea what FTP client or if all of you are using P5's uploader but Friday into Saturday morning I upload i4 clips without a problem. The FTP client used was Filezilla and ftp2.pond5.com

It has nothing to do with ftp Gary. It has to do with the problem I ran into end of last year. My entire upload was rejected for the same reason except it didn't state "corrupt codec" it just hosed all the files and made them look like garbage on first run. After rejection, and sitting the rejection folder for a couple of weeks, they all of sudden look really good. Working with support only ended up with no clear answer and purely blaming it on a codec that is clearly acceptable according to the upload specs (Avid DNxHD/DNxHQ) as pJpeg and png are no longer available in the latest adobe suite (CC2018) - So after wasting lots of time going back and forth with support and uploading through external means the same files for testing which was really an exercise of futility, I re-rendered a sample with a new codec that I found on AEscripts.com that allows pc versions of adobe to render to Prores varieties very cleanly. Send up a sample and they said - yes, this is a good code. My guess is the reason they had issues with the other codec is because they simply never installed it on their Mac workstations, hence they just assumed it was bad because it couldn't read the files. In any case, now at least we see there was another issue during the processing cycle of uploads that most likely was the initial problem to start with.

Hi guys,

A fix for this issue has been released today. You can change the filename of any item that failed and re-upload it now. Otherwise, we will be deactivating the dupe-detector for this error within the next few days if you don't want to rename. I'll post again to confirm when that's done.

Thanks for your patience.

Most of my footage uploaded from the last hours have the "Corrupt video codec" error....

Unfortunately processing problem is not fixed.

As far as I could figure it out, the script for processing files is capable for processing only one file at a time. If another file is finished uploading and previous is not finished processing, later uploaded file is bound to have "PROCESSING FAILED
Corrupt video codec". It should be an easy temporarily fix, process only one file at a time (per user).

Same problem here. Still no fix?

Still working on some lingering issues here with the codec errors, guys. We should have something released this week. Please bear with us.
