Lower than 50 percent???

@jason i want to ask you, about new 60 percent. is it really 60 percent or another "pond5 has the option to lower the price of anyone clips by 10-15%" and i have no choice?? i am planning to start a new topic about lower than 60 percent.

@leox83 If you selling the same clips at other agencies and do not intend to remove those clips then your commission will be reduced to 40% per the new contributor's agreement. If Pond5 is the only agency that sells you clips then your commission will be 60% for each sale.

Now for P5 has the option to lower a clips price by 10-15%, you should take the time to read the agreement you committed to when you signed up here to sell your footage. This has nothing at all to do with the Global Partner Program or Limited License Programs.

@jason, since when do they decide what clips will be lowered by 1-15%? it's bad enough they are forcing the Video Exclusivity Program on us too.

With other words, the last 2 price experiments, especially the 4k experiment with prices far below their own minimum, were a breach of contract. Very trustful for the future ;)

@mainstreammusic & Beckhusen Instead of asking me I suggest you read The Contributors Agreement Article # then question Pond5 at support@pond5.com how they figure who gets the % discount and why. That info has been in the agreement for some time.

But @jason we are going well with you :) just i was waiting when you will be tired to defend Pond5:) So here is the end: Pond5 will give 60 in exculsive program, but they have the right to lower a clips price by 10-15% whenever they want.

I have around 5000 clips exclusive here at P5, but i'll get only 40% because i don't be so silly to delete another account nore will re-upload, tag and describe around 5000 clips at a new excl. account here.
What to say else how fair this company cares for contributors which are onboard since many years?

And more about this? Whatfore is the tab "Is this clip exclusive / yes / no" which we have since a whole while in the upload page and which appears by higher pricing? Seems to be fake, heee?

@jason, the cut you mentioned before that Pond5 can cut 10-15% when they want . Today i had a sale $99:

Buy they cut it to $71.1. And i got just $35...So my %50 is just %35.... How can we trust Pond5 when we go exclusive???

You can rise your price instead if complaning..pond5 does what all other agencies do...

i already rised 3 times, people also will rise all their prices on 8 april. but this is not the correct way...
i am also in SS and SB, they never cut money without my knowledge
